I am situated in SE Iowa, on the edge of a corn field. I currently have 6 computers on a home network with a DSL connection, courtesy of my phone company, who hooks me up when I give them the money for the monthly bill. It’s not super fast but good enough and a helluva faster than dial up. I have 5 computers running  Windows XP and 1 running Ubuntu Linux. I listen to several netcasts on my commute to work, and I watch several netcasts on my days off. I have had several footprints on the web. I have been into computing since my Timex Sinclair back in 1981. I have had my own web pages and domains since 1997. So this is my blog for my views & opinions on life. We all need to slow down and look around at all that is near us and appreciate those close to us./mm
