My back hurts like a S.O.B., no thanks to the lack of helpfulness from the administration at work. It seems yesterday on day shift the chair broke at my station at work. More specifically the back broke off of the office chair we use. It was reported to the officials at work and nothing was done about it and probably won’t be until after Monday.
As a result we have to use the chair with no back, more like a stool now. So imagine doing 8 hours sitting on a stool. And if that wasn’t bad enough, after more than a year of being use to being able to lean back, it is hard to forget. So inadvertently about 3 or 4 times out of habit I went to lean back and then realized there is nothing there, so I wrenched my back in the process of preventing myself from flipping over backwards and cracking my head on the concrete floor.
And the thing about all this that pisses me off, is that it could have been prevented by simply placing another chair at the station. But the officials said no, wait until maintenance can fix that one. And to top it all off, we make office chairs at work and have a whole storage of them!
So dirty mother F to the administrators that be at work!
