KEOKUK, IA. (WGEM) – At this hour, crews are investigating a Friday morning building collapse in Keokuk.
Keokuk public works director Gerald Moughler tells WGEM News that a three-story building at 528 Main Street, commonly known as the Green Tamborine, collapsed at 7:50 Friday morning.
Moughler said that the building was vacant at the time of the collapse and that there are no reported injuries. He said at first glance he believes something structural in the front of the building may have gave way.
