This is being posted via new install of Ubuntu 9.10. I had to add the Medibuntu repos, and the Microsoft Fonts, and do a small tweak on my network settings. After those minor things, I am up and running.
I’m going to start messing with programming, by starting with the Alice.org site and go from there. We shall see where it goes.

hey! I’d be interested to know what specific packages you get from medibuntu (maybe skype?) but I find that these days it’s less needed as pretty much all the codecs I need are in the default repositories…
I really don’t know off hand. I suppose I just did it out of habit from in the past.
